Course Overview
This full certificate program is suitable for experienced or inexperienced operators of Aerial Work Platforms. The program may be tailored to address the specific needs of each application as required. This is a full day program.
Course Content
Theory:
- Review recent accidents and cause
- Explanation of current legislation and standards
- Safe work environment (signs, barriers, pylons, pedestrian safety)
- Pre-operational inspection of machine
- Protective equipment inspection (harness/lanyard)
- Engineering design (stability factors, outriggers)
- Safe operating procedures
- Fuel source (battery and propane)
- Summary
- Written test

These sessions are conducted in the actual work environment where possible.
